I just had to write and say that Ganges Indian Restaurant is the best in TRURO! The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Don't be put off by the outside as the inside is wonderful. 10/10 to Tony and all his friendly staff.

I have to say, I don't think this restauarant looks very impressive from the outside. However, it is conveniently located near 3 car parks. Once inside the restauarant is spacious and asthetically pleasing. There is a wide choice of food available and everything I've ever ordered has been tasty and arrived as quickly as possible. The staff are friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit (or two)!
I have always really enjoyed my meals here. I've been coming to the restaurant for about 15 years now! The interior is the same, but is well maintained and hasn't dated.
Obviously, the big pull with the Ganges is the food - which is still excellent! I generally prefer the creamy dishes (Kurma, Tikka Masala etc), but my spice loving friends say that they can give you the sweats when needs be!

One of my favourite Indian food restaurants in Cornwall. It is now about ten years old (if my memory serves), and the food is every bit as good as it used to be. Also, I''m pretty sure that their prices have stayed relatively statis in tll that time - no crazy price hikes during the ''boom years''!

I first came here for a birthday party and it really was a night to remeber. The staff were happy for the area we would be sititing in the be decorated with balloons. When we arrived they were friendly and welcoming and joined in with the birthday jokes.
We ordered a whole range of food and staff were happy to help us share the different suggestions. The waiter also offered suggestions about dishes they thought we might like. When the food arrived (after a short wait) it was tasty and fullof flavour.
There was a good choice of alcoholic beverages and champagne was even availabel when we ordered a bottle.
The bill wasn't as large as I'd been expecting. Real value for money!

This is one of my favourite Indian restaurants in Truro. The menu is extensive, with a wide range of Indian dishes svailable to delight even the most discerning customer.
Staff are extremely welcoming and friendly, with no request being too much trouble.
Ganges is also conveneinbtly located near a car park and within easy walking distance of shops, pubs and clubs.
In some cases, Indian food can be much of a muchness - all the same wherever you go, just heated vats of pre-prepared sauces.
At the Ganges, you can taste that everything is prepared fresh and on-site. The food is well priced for an 'eat in' and the service was very professional. One of the best in the town.

ReportAn excellent, locally owned Indian restaurant that I would highly recommend. I had a meal here with a group of friend's for my birthday. Everyone said that they thought the food was great, and I can personally vouch for the helpfulness and efficency of the waiting staff. The wine was kept flowing and the tables kept clean. Can't recommend enough.
