Spent Saturday night with friends in Threemilestone, we were at a bit of a loose end on Sunday, that don't really want the weekend to end feeling. Rang the Vic on the off chance we could get in. Thankyou team Vic, a warm welcome and a smashing carvery, no soggy veg here, it doesn't stay on the servery long enough!!. Nothing was too much trouble, you'll go along way to find senior management carrying plates for those not so steady on their feet, or adding apple sauce to the Gentleman's plate who couldn't bend very well. Can't wait for the next time we don't know what to do on a Sunday (we do now)

Went to Threemilestone on a flying visit yesterday, new outside area is great, have you done a deal with the weather men. Brilliant if sunny, conservatory to duck into just in case, can't go wrong!
ReportGlad you were able to make a flying visit. We are so proud at the way the new garden is looking! It seems to be encouraging the sun to peek out. Could be a little Cornish sun haven. Hopefully see you again soon CliveyN
The Victoria in has a great feeling, the staff are lovely, welcoming to all, while not forgeting they are a 'local'. The food is good value for money, the special nights and offers mean there's something for everyone. Keep it up team Vic a bright spot in the rotten summer.
ReportThank you CliveyN, I love the bright spot in a rotten summer line! Have faith, sun is coming Sunday, probably one day only mind.
I visit the Victoria Inn as often as my purse allows and often introduce friends, family and work colleagues to it. It has a warm and welcoming atmosphere and nothing is too much trouble for the friendly staff. The menu is extensive and reasonably priced and the food is well presented and cooked to perfection. I also love the flexibility of being able to replace chips with carvery veg, which is an option you don't often get in pub restaurants.
The Victoria Inn is a friendly pub with very good carvery daily and good choice of menu available in an airy welcoming environment. The outside area, once completed, will offer even more choice of where to enjoy the food and drink. Staff are friendly and attentive.
:-) "Overall a good value sunday meal with a better family atmosphere than any Harvester or Wetherspoons." We like that Sealubbe, many thanks. We aim to improve and enhance our guests experience by listening to all comments. It's also fantastic to be able to these to our staff so they can see that all their hard work and efforts are making a huge difference. Thank you for all your kind reviews. ReportFirst visit to the Victorias new refurbished restaurant today with a party of six, good attentive service and it was very very busy, they even apologised for us being early for our booking. Went for the carvery (3 meats) and it was very good with the pork being especially tasty. You get two thick slices of meat but there was a reluctance from the carver to offer me a third slice (The Pork) but did manage to get half of one. At £8.95 I found it to be reasonably priced for the size of portion, the wine was good value with the Merlot being especially decent. Overall a good value sunday meal with a better family atmosphere than any Harvester or Wetherspoons. (Would of got 5 stars if third slice bigger)
Just to start off, a great pub. The staff and prices are like the drinks they serve, they both make you happy! A place well worth visiting by yourself for a calm quiet night or with a load of mates for a great night out.
