a brilliant 'alternative' pub
The old ale house s not your average run of the mill pub, it caters to an alternative audience (mainly people who are into rock music), this is not to say that other people cannot enjoy it too, the atmosphere is really good and the prices are too, I woud recommend this pub to anyone I know, even if it was just for a change of scenery.

The best atmosphere of any pub i've ever been in!
The old ale house has the best atmosphere of any pub iv'e ever been to and although it is an aquired taste anyone should feel resonably confortable drinking there, the prices aren't too bad as pubs go and the service is always really good (even when there are loads of people).
I would recommend this pub to anyone who enjoys going out and having a pint(or two).
