Truro Arts Café is hosting a colourful display of figurative collages by local artist Elizabeth Lever. The nine works on display depict the female nude in an exciting and contemporary style. Reminiscent of Matisse’s Blue Nudes, Elizabeth’s work is made from shapes of vibrantly painted paper assembled on a white background. The striking silhouetted figures capture the energy of the human form.
The art work is on display and for sale until 1 April 2013 on the mezzanine level at Truro Arts Café, 26 River Street, Truro. Open from 9am-5.30pm Mon-Sat. For more information visit http://tinyurl.com/a3ayu32
