The students chosen are Joe Lee, Tegan Pryce, Bethany Williams, Jonathan Hunkin and George Clark from Truro School and Sean Heaney from Truro Prep.
Commenting on the news, Director of Music Martin Palmer said: "For many years now Truro School has been represented in the National Youth Choirs and the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain but we are extremely pleased that so many pupils have done themselves credit in the recent round of auditions.
Singing at Truro School is very strong, not least amongst the boys, many of whom were previously choristers at Truro Cathedral. Pupils perform in our Epworth Choir, Senior Chamber Choir and Boys Barbershop Group."
He added: "Not only do we have talented young musicians at the school but we also have five of the county's top singing teachers from whom our pupils draw inspiration and vocal expertise."
Students at Truro School Music Department are said to be one of the most prolific groups of performers in the South West and are able to take part in over 30 concerts and recitals a year.
Mr Palmer continued: "We have another busy term ahead of us with a number of performances around the county, culminating in a performance of Mozart's Requiem in the Cathedral in March, when we shall join forces with Truro Choral Society."
