Truro Trend, supported by the city's Business Improvement District, brings together both independent retailers with national stores.
Running from Thursday, May 3 to Monday, May 7, various events will be taking place including fashion shows, makeovers, treasure hunts and special promotions.
Participating businesses include New Look, Monsoon, Uneeka, TK Maxx, Debenhams, Impact Model Agency, The Salon, Boots, Inkfish, Truro College, Weird Fish, Joules and Blushhh.
One exciting element of the event is the 'trail of stars' which will see 30 stars being placed throughout the city centre, with prizes attached to the back of each star.
Neil Scott, BID manager for Totally Truro, said: "Fashion stores play a huge part in our colourful retail scene in Truro and alongside our cultural festivals, we wanted to support these shops with a spring fashion event.
"The best thing about Truro Trend is that the independent and larger chains work together – it's this mixture of the two that makes the city so popular for shoppers."
Highlights from the Truro Trend weekend include a catwalk launch event at One Eyed Cat on Thursday from 6pm to 8pm, whilst on Saturday, Impact Model agency will be scouting for new talent in New Look. On Sunday, Truro's Monsoon and Accessorize stores will be holding a bridal day to showcase bridal fashions.
