Truro Army Cadets meet on a Tuesday evening in the TA center and last week they were lucky enough to be shown around the new Wolf Landrover and the massive MAN trucks.
These vehicles have only just been delivered so the cadets were able to learn about them at the same time as the reserve soldiers.
The Truro Army Cadets are affiliated to The Rifles, an infantry regiment, so being able to see and get a feel for what their parent uses in operations was a fantastic opportunity for them.
Lt Stevenson, Detachment Commander for Truro Army Cadets, said " I am really grateful to the TA for hosting us this evening, the cadets have learnt a great deal and it is an exciting opportunity for them."
Truro Army Cadets is always welcome to receiving new cadets from the age of 12, on a Tuesday night from 7pm. Alternatively if you are over 21 and want to be part of something amazing that changes young peoples lives please contact Lt Stevenson on truroacf@gmail.com or look up Cornwall Army Cadets at armycadets.com/county/cornwall-acf .
