Assistive technology is designed to support independent living, this may be through the use of mobility equipment which enable a person to carry out everyday tasks as basic as making a cup of tea or may be sensors which prompt, remind or alert to avoid or minimise an emergency situation arising. Common areas which assistive technology can support are; falls / mobility issues, dementia / cognitive impairment, chronic medical conditions, sensory loss and providing support to carers. Tremorvah Industries based at Threemilestone Truro has been at the forefront of assistive technology developments in Cornwall for over 7 years and has supported thousands of local people to enjoy an independent way of living.  We also intiated a memory cafe that has grow to such an extent that it has been relocated to the local church hall.
