Olympic Torch comes to Stringer's Gym.

Stringer's Gym will be holding it's own Olympic Torch relay event on Friday 27th July, to celebrate the Olympics coming to London and to help raise funds for local charities.

The treadmills will start up at 6am and we aim to run/walk at least the  marathon distance throughout the day. We have an olympic torch, which has very kindly been loaned to us, so if you would like to have your photo taken holding it, then for a small donation for charity, you can take this once in a lifetime oppurtunity. BBC Radio Cornwall are joining us early in the morning and from mid-morning, the One Eyed cat will be supplying refreshing fruit cocktails.
