Musicians perform at Gwennap festival

A HOST of talented musicians and singers took part in a music festival at Gwennap Church.

Drummer Tobias Evans, age 11.
Watched by family and friends, they performed in front of adjudicators Philip Davey and Pat Mitchinson, who gave helpful written comments and a certificate to each participant or group.
Truro City Brass Ensemble won the instrumental section, and Alana Egan won the prize for singing.
The event also included a celebration of bell-ringing by Gwennap bellringers under the leadership of Martin Spittle.
