Organisers of Music Truro have issued a call to musicians, encouraging them to take part in this year's festival. The action gets underway on Monday 15th October and will again feature a cornucopia of musical delights across the city at a number of unexpected locations.
Musical individuals are being sought for one of the events planned for later that week. Neil Scott, BID Manager for Totally Truro is leading the search. He says: "We are looking for musicians of all ages and abilities to take part in two very exciting and ground breaking musical events to take place on the Saturday 20th October in the centre of Truro.
"We want this festival to be inclusive to everyone, no matter of ability or experience.
"I can't give too much away at this stage, but lets just say it's not going to be X-Factor. Music Truro is about coming together, collaborating and celebrating, not competing for 15 minutes of fame."
So if you have an old violin that you haven't played for a few years, or are a closet guitarist, register with the team to save your place.
