Clydesdale Bank's David Rogers turned the disappointment of finishing as runner up in 2011 by coming out top against a 26-strong field from Cornwall's business community.
David became the fifth winner of the annual tournament after beating Worldwide's Jeff Lenihan 5 and 3 in the final held at Truro Golf Club.
"We had some fresh faces involved this year which enhanced the networking benefits of the competition," said event organiser and independent financial adviser at Worldwide, Matt Higham.
"The final was a great match between David and Jeff, who have both played every year since we started in 2008.
"The final was nip and tuck for the first eight holes but David won a string of holes round the turn and there was no way back for Jeff with David winning 5 and 3.
"After finishing as runner up in last year's tournament, David was a worthy winner on the day."
The competition, which features golfers from Cornwall's business community, takes in a variety of the county's courses and started in May with a group format, which was followed by the knockout rounds.
Entries for the 2013 league are now being accepted. For further information please email Matt Higham at Worldwide Financial Planning on mhigham@wwfp.net or call on 01872 222422.
