Small and medium
enterprises in Truro are being offered free sales and marketing support to
give their businesses a boost.
Gala Events is
providing the advice and skills training to help companies that want to learn
how to grow and expand.
With decades of
experience the directors of Gala Events and Cornish Sporting Club are well
placed to offer such support.
Director, Alan George,
said: "In a recession many businesses can often feel they don't have the
time or the money to market their product or service. In fact many are not sure
where to begin in the first place.
"In just three
sessions we are confident that anyone who follows our advice will be on the
right track to seeing real improvements in their business."
Gala Events and
Cornish Sporting Club organises a wide variety of sporting and entertainment
events for corporate and private clients throughout the UK and overseas.
Alan George has worked
in a variety of roles, including as Football Sales Manager at Birmingham City
Football Club, before setting up Gala Events with William George in 2007 and
Cornish Sporting Club recently.
William has
significant business experience, having run his own print, marketing and
advertising businesses over the last 40 years. He has also organised many
marketing and sales seminars in UK businesses, including major marketing
campaigns for the Aberystwyth Cliff Railway and the Black County Museum.
William said: "We
want to share this experience with others that can use it to make a real
difference. It's something we enjoy doing, something we are good at and I
encourage anyone interested to contact us to find out more."
The first of the three
sessions is free of charge and then businesses can opt to pay for two further
sessions as part of the package, or just take away the knowledge they have
gained from the first free meeting.
